Renaissance means "Rebirth". During the Renaissance people explored and gained knowledge that was lost in the past. People discovered new things, Da Vinci also took part in this. He was an artist, architect, sculptor and an inventor. He discovered many things, made loads of stuff which benefitted in peoples life and he painted many marvelous paintings including the "Mona Lisa". Da Vinci was a true Renaissance man because he discovered new styles of painting and invented many new things which were very beneficial in the time of the Renaissance. He made military weapons, parachutes, new technology and painted beautiful paintings. Da Vinci really took part in the "Rebirth" of the Renaissance.
